Brad Farquhar

Brad Farquhar is Co-Founder and Vice-President of Assiniboia Capital and Palliser Farmland Management, and President of Nomad Capital Corp., a financial research firm. Brad is a trained financial planner and has completed the Canadian Securities Course of the Canadian Securities Institute. He received a Master of Public Administration degree in Electoral Governance from Griffith University in Australia, studied political science at Carleton University, and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts at Providence College.

Brad has worked as an international democracy development consultant on elections in Central Asia, the Middle East, and the Caribbean. He has also been a part-time faculty member in the Department of Political Science at the University of Regina. Brad previously served as Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Party (a political party now forming the government in Saskatchewan), and as Executive Assistant to the Leader of the Opposition in Saskatchewan.

Brad is interested in social entrepreneurship and has been involved as a volunteer business consultant on entrepreneurial development projects in the Republic of Niger (2008 & 2009) and in Mongolia (summer 2010).
